Q: What is the purpose of the bagless separator and turbo filter? Is it necessary in this vacuum cleaner?

A: Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your question.
The Turbo Filter is especially helpful if you are sucking up lots of rubbish and are having to empty your machine quite often. Builders cleaners would be a good example of someone who would benefit from the Turbo Filter. The Turbo Filter allows for fast easy emptying while the machine remains on your back. The Turbo Filter also keeps the filtration of the machine cleaner and working better. That means better suction for longer. It is an accessory that is not essential to this vacuum cleaner and most people will tend to buy the machine first and then decide later if they would like to order the Turbo Filter.
I hope this info helps. If you have anymore questions please give us a call on 1300 822 626.
Have a great day.

Q: I am comparing the Stealth with another product both with very similar attributes - however other vac claims to have airflow of 45.6 l/sec at 40mm orifice ? Am I comparing apples with apples or does the little (40mm orifice) note change the outcome/comparison?
Thanks

A: Hi Zelda,
Fantastic question!
We actually sell the back pack vacuum cleaner you are refering too. The 45.9Lt/sec airflow is a motor specification not a real machine suction specification. The motor spec, especially at a 40mm orifice, is irrelevant because the design of a back pack vacuum cleaner matters (how efficiently air flows through a machine and it's filters) and real suction should be measured at the tool.
You should also consider that the motor in that machine is only single stage compared to the Stealth Back Pack Vacuum Cleaner which has a 2 stage motor. A 2 stage motor lasts longer because it doesn't have to work as hard. The machine you are referring to is fine however we class it as a lot lighter duty than the Steath.
We are happy to supply you either, however I know you will be happier with the Stealth. Hope this helps with your decision and assists you to compare apples with apples.
You have inspired us to start testing all our machines at the tool with our SUCKOMETER. We hope to put a true back pack vacuum cleaner comparison chart online in the near future, not just specs provided by manufacturers which gets confusing. Thanks for contacting us.
Have a great day.

Q: We currently have a Meile S718 with Hepa filter and 2000w motor. It is a great machine although getting on a bit. Will the Stealth clean as effectively? Would the attachments eg tools, cleaning heads off the meile fit the Stealth? I am interested in the idea off the back pack as the Meile is quite heavy especially lugging it upstairs and doing the stairs.
Would you recommend the Stealth over other back pack vacuum cleaners?

A: Hi Bill,
Thanks for your question.
With regard to your Meile, we would class this as a domestic machine and because we specialise in commercial quality products only I can not comment on that product as I'm not aware of the accessories or specifications. In most cases, domestic vacuum cleaner accessories have an inside diameter in the neck of 32mm which is also the most common in commercial back pack vacuum cleaners. This is most commonly the case however it is not the hard and fast rule.
A lot of people enjoy going from a heavy pull along to a lightweight back pack. I bought the Stealth for my father-in-law a few Chritmas's ago, he was using what I think was a Meile and he would never go back. I'm a big fan too but I guess it comes down to personal preference.
Yes, the Stealth is my favourite back pack vac and it's the most popular one we sell. When doing your homework, never buy a vacuum based on wattage of the motor. It has little to do with suction. Instead look for airflow or litres per second in suction. There is an article in the blog under the vacuum cleaner category that will help explain which is called... 9 Biggest Mistakes To Avoid When Choosing A Backpack Vacuum Cleaner
Have a great day and I hope this info helps.
