DESCRIPTION
Power Boost has been especially designed for professional carpet cleaners who require a premium, high powered, heavy duty extraction detergent powder for portable and truckmount carpet cleaning machines in cold up to extreme heat temperatures. It's unique and innovative emulsifier formulation with brilliantly buffered pH, contains a carefully blended combination of high class fibre safe solvents, surfactants and water softeners that leave behind a fresh citrus fragrance. That's part of the secret of how Power Boost cuts through the toughest soils and greases even in the heaviest of traffic lanes and on the most difficult to clean synthetic carpets.
Power Boost has a buffered pH and is designed to be
used so that when the carpet is finished being cleaned the resultant pH is not
over 8.

1. Pre-Spray: As a pre-spray treatment prior to water extraction
2. Tank Detergent: Mixed & diluted into the portable carpet cleaning machine's solution tank (no pre-spraying.)
3. Truckmount Detergent: Mixed & diluted ready for detergent pick up systems on truck mounts and some portable machines.
4. Booster: As a booster for your prespray, solution tank, or detergent pickup systems.
5. Spotter: As a general purpose spotter

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Dilution Rates
Pre-spray: Mix 50 - 100 grams per 5 litres of water
Portables: Mix 10 - 15 grams per 10 litres of tank water
Truckmounts: Mix 300 grams per 10 litres of water to make up truckmount concentrate. Set the flow meter at 2 - 4 gallons per hour (Set at 2 gallons per hour for stain resistant carpets)
Booster: Add 2-5 tablespoons of Power Boost to 5 litre of prespray mixture for added cleaning power.
1-Step Carpet Cleaning (Use as a tank detergent)
1. TEST… on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure suitability of this product on the surface.
2. VACUUM… Thoroughly dry vac the carpet with an upright vacuum cleaner or a vacuum fitted with a powerhead to remove loose soil.
3. MIX… 10 - 15 grams of Power Boost per 10Lt of clean water. At this dilution Power Boost is safe to use on wool carpets.
4. CLEAN - EXTRACT… Using a portable carpet steam cleaning machine, clean/extract the carpet using slightly overlapping strokes.
5. RAKE... Use a carpet rake if necessary to realign carpet fibres and speed up drying. Using a carpet dryer, air mover or just turning on an air conditioning system may also speed up the drying process.
6. DRY… Before the area is opened to traffic allow to dry.
2-Step Carpet Cleaning (Use as a tank detergent after pre-spraying)
Many people successfully use Power Boost in the tank of their portable or truck mounted carpet cleaning machines in conjunction with their normal prespray procedure. If you would like to try this technique follow the instructions above, but before Step 4 CLEAN - EXTRACT apply your pre-spray as you normally would to the carpet and allow to dwell for 5-10 minutes before you use your wand and machine.
Pre-Spraying
For heavily soiled areas, pre-spraying Power Boost mixed at 50-100 grams in 5Lt of water prior to your normal procedure will give superior results.
Stain Removal and Spotting
Use Power Boost as a spotter by mixing 25 grams into 500ml of water. Always pre-test on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure suitability of this product on the surface.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Use Power Boost through your chemical feed system in your truckmount for outstanding rinse results on tiles and grout with your high pressure tile cleaning tool. Always test Power Boost on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure suitability of this product on the surface.
TIPS
1. Go over the carpet a second time dry to extract additional water and achieve dryer carpets.
2. Move the wand slower across heavily soiled carpet areas.
