“Dude, I can buy my Wagtail cheaper online.”
and the list goes on. Thank you for all your abuse feedback, we do appreciate it, it makes us better!

I have a question for you… Do you love Australia?…
I ran into Dick Smith in 2003 and from the moment I met him, and for the short time I spent with him, I was impressed and changed by this great Aussie. However… I have been troubled by the issues he brought up with me ever since! True to his words, Australia is exactly where he predicted it would be way back then.
The massive rise in support of China (and other Asian countries) and the moving away from Australia for manufacture has reached unacceptable levels! We as suppliers, and you as consumers must take responsibility for the poor state affairs and downhill economic tumble of the country we say we love. We can blame the government and politicians, price and other factors, but at the end of the day we are the problem. We have opened up our wallets and purchased imported products from overseas owned companies over Australian made products from Australian owned companies. (more…)

Yes, you can use professional carpet cleaning chemicals with your domestic carpet cleaning machine. Your carpet cleaning machine will most likely spray a solution from a small tank to the carpet, it may scrub the carpet with a brush and then suck the solution from the carpet hopefully leaving it clean. Foam and suds can be the enemy of machines like this because foaming can find it’s way to the vacuum motors causing problems.
The best procedure is to pre-spray the carpet with Lavender Force diluted at 1 part chemical to 20 parts water. By pre-spraying the carpet you allow the chemical to dwell on the surface longer which means it will work better. In your solution tank we recommend Plush Rinse. It’s a neutraliser that acts like a hair conditioner leaving your carpets feeling soft and drying fast. You would dilute the Plush at 1 part chemical to 50 parts water.
While this is the preferred carpet cleaning method even for professionals some people do still prefer a one step approach. If this is you, use the Lavender Force carpet cleaning detergent at 1 part chemical to 100 parts water in your machine’s solution tank. Whenever using a carpet cleaning chemical for the first time in your machine keep a close eye on the foam levels. Sometimes foaming is not caused by the a professional carpet cleaning detergent but by the detergent residues already in the carpet. If you experience foaming a defoamer may be required in your dirty water tank.
Happy carpet cleaning!

Here at Total Supply Solutions we have been concerned for sometime about the number of Australian manufacturing jobs going overseas to China and elsewhere. The cleaning supplies and toilet paper distribution business in Australia is no exception. We have been sucked in by cheap prices and poorer quality. Poorer quality costs us more in the end and Australia is worse off because jobs are lost. Enough is enough, it’s time to doing something about it!
You will have seen some huge changes to our toilet paper and hand towels range. Now you can get all Australian made toilet paper and hand towels at the made in China price. You will also enjoy lower usage rates because the quality is awesome. We are fighting back and urge you all to buy Australian Made wherever you can. It’s more important now more than ever to defend Aussie jobs and work together for a better future for us and our children.
We are proud that almost every cleaning chemical, toilet paper and hand towel product we now sell is Australian made. Stay turned for more announcements because at Total Supply Solutions we are Australian Made wherever possible.

One of the most difficult tasks in business is making smart buying decisions. When it comes to choosing your cleaning supplies and toilet products this is no exception. So often on the surface some cleaning products may appear cheaper only for you to find out later that it’s costing you more. Now that’s frustrating!
How can cheaper cleaning supplies cost you more? How is this possible? Maybe the cleaning products don’t last as long, maybe usage goes up, perhaps the end use cost is not what was promised, your labour costs might go up because tasks take longer, back orders and out of stocks might be costing you, the list is endless.
This can happen in many ways but here is a few common mistakes you can make when choosing cleaning supplies and toilet products. There is an example with each to help illustrate each point.
1. Higher Labour / Servicing Costs… (more…)
