It’s so important to always qualify your enquiries. For your own satisfaction and profitability, making sure the job is something you can and want to do is crucial. Remember, every transaction you enter into must be a win-win. A win for you and a win for your client. It is a good idea to pleasantly ‘shut down’ all win-loss and loss-loss scenarios. There is nothing wrong with telling a client that ‘sorry, I can’t help you’, as long as you do it nicely of course.

Most people see the Hygiene Inspection Black Light as a total mystery. While the bulb itself only emits a faint purple light, when turned on various substances will glow. It can be confusing to get your head around the truth about vacuum cleaner performance. Discussing suction is a little more detailed than the simple explanations that are often offered. The issue of whether wattage equals suction is quite simple, as the answer is NO.
It is probably best to address the easiest issue first. Does higher wattage mean greater suction? Most people believe the answer is yes. The simple fact of the matter is that wattage is only a measurement of how much power (or electricity) will be consumed. So a 1000W vacuum cleaner will use 1kilowatt (1000 Watts) of electricity in 1 hour. The point being made here is that it is a consumption measurement, rather than a power output measurement…..it tells you nothing about suction. If you want to use more electricity, then use a vacuum cleaner with higher wattage.

Is your cleaning department costing you to much?
Many industry experts now believe fixed cleaning chemical contracts in the healthcare and hospitality industry have lead to higher labour costs, ineffective cleaning programs and lower facility standards. These arrangements in many cases make budgeting easy at the expense of hygiene standards, higher labour costs and lower profits. So there is good reason to beware of a fixed chemical price per room (housekeeping), per cover (kitchen) or per kilogram (laundry).
